  1. Les Rowley – Leeds (West Yorkshire)

What can I say. This is probably the best book I have seen on the Lakes. It is well designed and the photos are terrific throughout plus I got the feeling that the book was written just for me. I want to visit again. (I did the C2C cycle in a day back in 2019). What a great gift this will be. Whatever the cost, every page is worth it!

  2. Miriam Fahey – Dublin (Eire)

The Lake District is known for its majestic beauty and sweeping history. Reading this guide was an adventure and comes with beautiful photos.

  3. Dean Backhouse – Leeds (West Yorkshire)

This is a wonderful book. Everything you would really want to know about the Lake District all wrapped up in one place. The photography is stunning, and the descriptions are brief yet informative. It is a really useful guide and I will certainly be taking it with me on my next trip to the Lakes.
